SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR KIDS

A GNOME SHARES HIS KNOWLEDGE WITH TREES

Gnomes are the experts on trees. They know all their secrets and enjoy sharing the wonders of trees. Gerry the gnome will open a window of the secret life of trees. Here are some hidden world trees that Gerry can share with kids. So come along and discover what Gerry the gnome finds about trees.

TREES ARE CONDUITS FOR ENERGY

Yes, trees are a channel of energy. Nothing blocks us, so we can receive things around us fully. I receive power from the environment all the time. Stars, the moon, clouds, animals, humans, and spirits interact and radiate through me. My branches and leaves act as antennas. All healthy trees are constantly receiving and transmitting. It is simply our natural way of living and sharing.

TREES DANCE IN THE WIND

Hurray! Yippee! When the wind comes, I dance. Dancing in the wind is a very enlivening experience. Most of all, then the sun is shining. When I dance, and my branches sway, my leaves shake, and leaves flutter around us. I am built to move. It’s beautiful to dance in the wind. It helps me survive.

THE TREES PURPOSE

My purpose is to give so I can receive life. I extract carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen. I take in water and excrete moisture. I shed my leaves to build growth. I give out peace because I draw myself life-renewing energy.

GIANT TREES ARE WONDERS OF NATURE

They respect their size and longevity. They hold the standing wave of spirit around the entire forest. We are gravity centers of light and water. Giant forests of the world are linked by networks of energy that help sustain and balance the earth’s ecosphere.

MY ADVENTURE WITH TREES

I didn’t meet Gerry the gnome and wish I could meet a gnome sometime, but I find the magic in trees and wanted to share it in this book:

Twelve-year-old Tressi and her friend Ralph Rabbit, a giant white rabbit dressed as a medieval prince, open a new world to Samantha, a cloistered young violin virtuoso. Tressi’s world consists of trees of all kinds, mythical and real. Forest gnomes help Tressi by transporting a magical chest containing three special volumes of books through the forest. Each book she opens for Samantha includes a story that will inspire and awaken children to nature’s wonders.
